Summit & Website Terms of Use

This policy applies to the Calm Connected Tweens and Teens Summit 2024 (‘Summit’). The Summit website is owned and operated by Sparks Education Australia Pty Ltd (‘Sparks’) who are organising the Summit in collaboration with Justine Lamont trading as Good to Great Parenting (‘GTG’). Unless otherwise stated references to ‘we' or 'us' are references to each of Sparks and GTG.

These conditions take effect on 1 January 2024.

1. Terms of Use

These conditions and the policies referred to on the website for the Summit describe what users can expect from us, as well as what we expect from you. In accessing our website you agree to these conditions and agree to comply with those policies, regardless of whether
you create an account or purchase anything.

These conditions and those policies are collectively referred to as the ‘terms’.

When we refer to our websites we mean this website and any other platform associated with the Summit whether operated by us or a third party, such as our social media accounts and/or Facebook Group page. References to materials mean the contents of our websites, any presentations and any products or services supplied by us.

We can change, add to, or delete the whole or any part of the terms at anytime without further notice. If this occurs, we will post the changes on this page. Your continued use of any website after such changes occur constitutes your acceptance of the changed terms.

Do not use or access the websites or purchase any materials from us if you disagree with any of the terms.

3. Disclaimer

We aim to deliver relatable, unbiased information through its content and presentations but we would ask you to please note that all information and materials are general in nature and provided for informational or educational purposes only. They do not constitute professional advice. For advice and support specific to your needs, please consult a professional.

The opinions and ideas shared by our speakers, guests and those providing comments are their own and do not necessarily represent our views or those of any other participant in the Summit. All speakers take part as individuals representing their own businesses.

We accept no responsibility for your use of any links to third party sites that may appear on Summit websites or in any materials.

We make no warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information in the materials. We are not liable for any inaccuracies, errors or reliance on personal opinions contained in the materials.

We will make reasonable efforts to provide the Summit and to allow you to access materials for a period of 3 years following the date of the Summit but you agree we have no liability for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from any cause that is beyond our reasonable control. Such causes include, but are not limited to power failure, Internet Service Provider failure, industrial action, civil unrest, fire, flood, storms, earthquakes, acts of terrorism, acts of war, governmental action or any other event
that is beyond our control.

4. Content and copyright

You may use materials for personal non-commercial purposes only. You may not resell, copy, publish or modify the whole or any part of the materials, whether in physical or electronic form. You may post links to our websites but may not use graphics from our websites.

You must ensure that if you post anything to our websites that you have the legal right to do so.

5. Usage

If you download materials from us then these are yours to keep for so long as you wish. Some materials offered for download are offered for a limited time only (including but not limited to our ‘Summit All Access Pass’), which is reflected in the pricing. Once the period has expired you will no longer be able to download additional copies of the materials but you will continue to be able to use materials previously downloaded.

6. User account

If you create an account with us, that account is personal to you. You are not allowed to share your account details with anyone or allow anyone else to use those details to access our websites or materials. You are solely responsible for the information you choose to share or make available and for anything that happens through your account.

You have to be 18 years old to create an account. We will terminate any account if we discover the member is under that age.

7. User generated content and accounts

You must use our websites responsibly and must always comply with all applicable laws, including without limitation all laws relating to intellectual property and privacy. You must not use any materials and/or communications in an unlawful way or for any illegal or unlawful
purpose. Please do not submit any sensitive information to us.

We are not obliged to publish any information or content on our websites. We reserve the right to moderate all content posted which includes but is not limited to removal of any content without prior notice. If you choose to submit content on our websites you agree that we have a non-revocable, royalty free commercial license to re-publish your submission in whole or in part on any of our websites.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any user's access to all or any part of our websites including any account associated with that user without notice, for any reason in our sole discretion.

We also reserve the right to suspend or discontinue access to our websites or any parts of them, without prior notice. We do not promise to store or keep showing any information or other content that you or any other user have provided.

You acknowledge and agree that we are not liable for any defamatory, offensive or illegal conduct of any other participant or user.

8. Affiliates

Please be aware our websites may use affiliate links to sell products or services, including materials.

9. Our store

All prices are in Australian dollars (‘AUD’) and include applicable Australian sales tax. Please note that if you are purchasing materials using a currency other than AUD your payment provider may convert your local currency to AUD at a rate set by them.

If you live outside of Australia then depending on the value of your order and locally applicable laws you may be required by to pay additional duties and taxes. These charges are set and collected by your country, independently of us. Please contact your local customs offices for more information regarding duties and taxes.

Our prices may be changed from time to time. The price you must pay is the price applicable at the time you place an order, not the time any materials are placed in your shopping cart.

If you have ordered a digital product you will receive an email which will contain a link for you to download or access. If you do not receive this email within an hour of your purchase, please check your junk folder. 10. Refunds/Return Policy

No refunds will be given for materials purchased from us, unless we are required by law to do so.

11. Severability

If any part of the terms is unlawful and/or unenforceable, all other provisions will remain in full force and effect.

12. Laws

Your use of our websites, any other materials and any dispute arising out of such use are subject to the laws of the State of New South Wales, Australia.
