SUMMIT PRIVACY POLICY

This policy applies to the Calm Connected Tweens and Teens Summit 2024 (‘Summit’). The Summit website is owned and operated by Sparks Education Australia Pty Ltd (‘Sparks’) who are organising the Summit in collaboration with Justine Lamont trading as Good to Great Parenting (‘GTG’). Unless otherwise stated references to ‘we' or 'us' are references to each of Sparks and GTG. 

We are committed to your privacy. In this document we explain how we collect, store, use and share information that could be used to identify you, such as your name and contact details. We call that personal information.

When you use our products and services you are permitting us to collect, store, use and share your personal information in accordance with this document. 

1. Collection
We sometimes collect the personal information you provide to us either directly or from your computer, mobile or other device. The type of information we collect will likely include:
your contact and any payment details, including your name, email address and phone number; information collected in relation to your use of our websites such as activity logs, IP address and cookie, device, browser and operating system identifiers; and information provided by you when interacting with our websites, products and services such as your name and other information you choose to provide.

You have to be 18 years old to provide personal information to us and create an account. We will terminate any account if we discover the member is under that age.

2. Use
We use your personal information for a range of purposes including for the provision of products and services; for security; to better understand your preferences; and to conduct and develop our business.
We will disclose your personal information if we are required to do so but will not sell your personal information to any third parties.
Information you choose to provide to us by way of postings to our websites or forums will usually be available on the internet, so you should consider the risks of misuse by third parties before providing such information. 

3. Storage
If we collect personal information about you we will use reasonable endeavours to store it securely. 

4. Retention
We retain personal data as long as it is needed to conduct our legitimate business purposes or to comply with our legal obligations. For example, we will retain certain personal information indefinitely for the purposes of maintaining your account with us. Data that we gather for a specific and particular purpose will be kept for no longer than is necessary for that particular purpose. Data that is no longer needed by us for the purpose for which it was collected will be permanently deleted. Please note that if you provide data to third party providers (such as Facebook) their policies regarding data will apply in addition to this policy. 

5. Cookies
We and our service providers may from time to time use cookies and other digital tracking tools. A cookie is a small piece of data sent by a website to the browser on your device to help us collect and store information about your use of our services. We and our service providers use cookies for various purposes, including:
* to enable us to operate our products and services efficiently;
* to measure website traffic and usage patterns and to collect information about your interactions with those services;
* for authentication, security and customised content delivery;
* to help us show relevant advertising to you more effectively, both on and off our websites and to measure the performance of such advertisements; and
* to understand your interests and preferences so we can tailor the content of our website to your likely interests and provide you with a more relevant personalised online experience, improve our services and identify suitable offers, products and services that we believe may interest you. 

6. Changes to this document
From time to time we may amend this document, for example to record any changes to the way we manage personal information or the functionality of our offerings. 

7. Applicable law
This document is governed by the laws of New South Wales. Your personal information will be collected, used, stored, shared and retained in accordance with this document and applicable law. The courts of New South Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
