Maggie Dent is known as the ‘queen of common sense’, and is one of Australia's favourite parenting podcasters, authors and educators. She has a particular interest in the early years, adolescence and resilience, and is an undisputed 'boy champion'.
Michelle is a speaker, author of 'Tweens', and the founder of Youth Excel - delivering life skills programs and psychological services to thousands of young people and their families. She offers compassionate and grounded advice for parenting tweens and teens.
Steve Biddulph AM was voted Australian Father of the Year in 2000 and a Member of the Order of Australia for his work in adolescent mental health.
His books, including 'Wild Creature Mind', 'The Secret of Happy Children', 'Raising Boys', & 'Raising Girls' are in 6 MILLION homes and 31 languages and have influenced the way we look at childhood.
Karen is an authority on child and adolescent anxiety. She's the author of five books, including the bestselling ‘Hey Warrior’ and ‘Hey Awesome’, which creatively assist children to understand and manage anxiety. Her website, Hey Sigmund, attracts millions of readers each year.
DAY 2: 22nd Feb
For 30 years, Paul's provided schools with quality information & best practice drug education. Through 'Drug and Alcohol Research and Training Australia' (DARTA) he provides updates on current drug trends, and advice on alcohol and drug issues. He's the author of 'Teenagers, Alcohol and Drugs' and has a blog and podcast.
Justine is a parent, speaker, parenting coach and founder of Good To Great Parenting. She helps parents see themselves as the uniquely placed experts on their own children, and gives them tools to advocate for their child at home, school and in life.

We've chosen speakers who are world class experts to give you proven, up to date, research-backed advice. And we're offering practical advice and resources so parents can take action and implement steps after the summit. It's all about making a real difference for you, your teen and your family.

What will I learn at the Calm and Connected Tweens and Teens Summit?
This summit is all about helping parents reach cooperation, connection, and calm with your teen. There are lots of summits and other resources out there for parenting our teens, but our 15 expert speakers will specifically help you to build a strong relationship with your teen and show you how to build their resilience, independence and wellbeing.
How do I know if this summit is right for me?
If you're a parent of tweens or teens, this event is for you! We’ll be specifically talking to parents, but educators or anyone who wants to get a better understanding of teenagers and helping them be and do their best is welcome to join us.
If you're a parent of a tween you may already be seeing some of the challenges experienced during the teenage years. This summit gives you valuable parenting tips and strategies to handle these challenges and build a trusting relationship with your child.
When is the summit happening?
The main portion of the summit runs from 21st to 23rd February, 2025.
Time: On each day of the summit we make 5 speaker videos available to watch at 8am (AEST). You have 24 hours from that time to watch those 5 speakers, before we take them down and put up the next day's speakers, then the next day.
Pre-summit activities/sessions start in the Facebook Group on Saturday, 15th February. so you can join in on the fun and learning right away! You can join here: Parenting Through Tough Stuff
What if I’m not able to attend live?
Our presentations are pre-recorded and are available to watch for 24 hours with your free ticket. So we encourage you to attend on those days if you can!
You can also attend some live sessions and Q&A's in our Facebook Group, and join in with others who are finding ways to help their tweens and teens.
However, if you’re not able to attend all of the sessions each day, go ahead and grab your free ticket and consider upgrading to the ALL ACCESS PASS. The pass gives you extended access to watch the videos and you can use all the extra resources that come with the Pass whenever it's convenient or as a need pops up.
How long will I have access to the presentations?
Your free ticket includes 24 hour access to each of the presentations. That means, Day 1 presentations expire after 24 hours, Day 2 expire after 24 hours and Day 3 expire after 24 hours.
But if you'd like more time or want to watch when it's convenient to you, you can upgrade your ticket to the ALL ACCESS PASS after registering. This gives you extended access to the presentations, along with speaker notes, transcripts and loads of valuable bonus resources from our speakers.
NOTE: When you buy the All Access Pass, we give you immediate access to the digital resources and speaker bonuses. You can start using them before the summit even starts!
Once the summit ends , we'll then upload all the speaker videos, notes, transcripts and action plans into the course platform for you to watch and use when it's convenient to you.
Are the presentations live?

Will all the speakers get my email address?
No. We do not share your email address with the speakers.
When you register, you’ll be added to the summit hosts email lists - Sparks Education (Jenny's) email list and Good To Great Parenting (Justine's) email list. We'll email you updates for the summit and the important links to watch each day’s presentations. After the summit, you’ll continue to hear from us from time to time, but you can easily unsubscribe at any time.
Optional: Each of the speakers will have bonus resources available as part of the upgrade to the All Access Pass. If you'd like any of their resources you can follow their link and give them an email address ... but the speakers will not get your email address unless you choose to give it to them specifically.
That way, you only hear from the people you really love and don't have to worry about getting added to loads of email lists you're not interested in.

Are your videos transcribed?
Yes. All presentations are transcribed and available for those who upgrade to the All Access Pass. You'll get the chance to upgrade after you grab your free ticket for the summit.
